We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers and interns with different talents and passions. If you are interested but not sure what you want to do, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to discuss it with you. Please contact us at info@stichtingnicc.nl
If you would like to get a better idea of what NICC has to offer volunteers and interns, here is a brief introduction.
Are you looking for a volunteer position where you can contribute to the future by delving into the past? Then you've come to the right place! Below are a few examples of volunteer positions we have to offer.
A collection needs to be maintained; items need to be added, supplemented and summarised. If you enjoy ensuring that our collection is easy to find and you like researching documents, then the collection group might be something for you.
But the NICC also does a lot of work on videos, so if you want to improve your editing skills, you've come to the right place.
Furthermore, the NICC strives to make experiences more transparent and insightful through timelines on a variety of topics, such as fair trade, gender, and water. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers who would like to contribute to a timeline by delving into a specific topic or case. You will conduct research on a topic that interests you in a group of experts and young professionals. Together, you will explore a topic from different perspectives.
As a young organisation, there are many possibilities and we are certainly open to your own creative ideas and projects. We look forward to getting to know you.

Do you understand the importance of international cooperation and want to shed light on the history of development cooperation? Then an internship at the NICC is for you.
The NICC Foundation is looking for interns who want to help make the history of development cooperation more transparent and provide context. The NICC Foundation's timelines provide an overview of the most important developments that have taken place around various themes in the history of international cooperation and sustainable development. Interviews, material from the collection and videos form the basis of the timelines.
As an intern, you can contribute to this in collaboration with experts on the themes that interest you. You will also help organise webinars and promote the timelines on social media.
If communication is more your thing, then the NICC is definitely the right place for you. If you are interested in contributing ideas to the communication strategy of a young organisation, then we are looking for you.
So, if you are looking for practical experience alongside your studies or need to do an internship as part of your studies, we would love to meet you. Internships with us can be full-time or part-time, with a minimum duration of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.
