NICC stands for the Netherlands International Cooperation Collection.
The NICC Foundation is dedicated to increasing the transparency and accessibility of experiences in international cooperation and sustainable development. NICC seeks to connect initiatives, link practical experience with new knowledge, and foster intergenerational dialogue on these themes. Through these efforts, the Foundation aims to contribute to a more sustainable and more interconnected global society.
The NICC Foundation manages a comprehensive and diverse collection focused on international cooperation and sustainable development. This collection is enriched with personal experiences and narratives, contributed by and intended for professionals, practitioners, students, and other interested audiences.
The NICC Board consists of:
Catie van Beuningen, Liana Hoornweg, Teddie Muffels, Isabelle Van den Hoek Ostende, Janny Poley, Siemen Veenstra (Chair), and Mop Lammert Winters (Treasurer).
The NICC Foundation is recognized as an ANBI (Cultural Public Benefit Organization) under Dutch law.
The NICC Foundation is supported by a growing network of committed supporters. This has resulted in the establishment of an Advisory Committee, whose members have expressed their strong endorsement of the Foundation’s mission and their willingness to support its activities when appropriate.
Members of the Advisory Committee are:
Marc Dierkx, Ton Dietz, Marene Elgershuizen, Sjef Ernes, Loek Hermans, Ron Keller, Pauline Kiesow, Siri Lijfering, Bram van Ojik, Henk Ovink, Joris van Oppenraaij, Sybe Schaap, Marja Spierenburg, and Andy Wehkamp.
The enrichment and further development of the NICC collection takes place in close collaboration with students, recent graduates, and a broad network of volunteers and resource persons.
We welcome individuals who are willing to share their expertise by registering as a resource person.
In addition, we are seeking volunteers and interns who wish to contribute their time and skills to the work of the NICC Foundation.
As a young organization, the Foundation also gratefully welcomes financial contributions and donations.
